20 Saskatchewan MLA’s endorse Andrew Scheer for Conservative Leader

REGINA, November 8, 2016 – Today, 20 MLA’s from across Saskatchewan announced their support for Andrew Scheer’s candidacy for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.

“I am honoured at the support from these hardworking Saskatchewan MLA’s. My campaign is about uniting Conservatives across the country to defeat Trudeau in 2019,” said Scheer. “I have the support of 17 MPs, three Senators and now 20 principled MLAs from my home province.

“We are supporting Andrew because he is a real leader who can unite Conservatives and lead the party to victory in 2019,” said Warren Steinley, MLA and Saskatchewan Chair for Scheer’s campaign. “Andrew’s leadership will bring everyone who wants common sense government together in one tent under the leadership of a principled conservative.”
