“I am honoured by the support from these hardworking senators. As indicated by these announcements my campaign is building a broad coalition that will unite Conservatives from coast to coast in order to defeat Trudeau in 2019,” said Scheer. “I am proud of the diverse support I am receiving across the country.”

“I am supporting Andrew because I believe he is the candidate who can keep Conservatives united in the lead up to 2019.  He’s a real leader who understands what it takes to defeat the Liberals next election,” said Senator Patterson.

“Andrew’s leadership gives everyone a voice and focuses on bringing Conservatives together as we move forward,” said Senator Doyle.

Doyle and Patterson join Denise Batters, David Wells and David Tkachuk as Conservative Senators who are supporting Andrew Scheer for Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
